Ackerman breast types

Or: Ackerman Types , the four-category classification system for breast tumors: the cancer cells in Ackerman Type I have not penetrated a membrane barrier and can be removed by simple surgery (lumpectomy); in Ackerman Types II and III, the most common form of breast cancers, the ducts and alveolar membranes are affected; in Ackerman Type IV the malignancy is invasive, the cancer cells have spread through the bloodstream to attack the lymph nodes and other organ tissues.
